Fay says:
5:30 a.m. I get up to go to the bathroom. As usual, Smoky and Sabrina are wide awake but it is too early and I’m too tired to feed them and go back to sleep.
7:06 a.m. Sabrina hops on the bed, makes her chirping noise and sits in front of my head. This morning Sabrina does not do her usual hour long gentle “wake Fay up” process. Whack, whack on my head with the little paw with the claws out and clearly she tells me it is time to get up and feed her. I wait a minute, maybe she will go away. Nope. Whack, whack – FAY GET UP!
“Bob, are you awake? Go feed the cats.”
7:20 a.m. Now everyone is happy except Bob who had to get out of bed but he was awake already.
After her breakfast Sabrina hops back into bed and curls up behind my knees to continue her beauty sleep. Sabrina dreams “life is good”. Smoky says “I’m just along for the ride. I show up and look starved (while I try to suck in my big fat tummy) when Sabrina makes a fuss and I get fed. Life is good.”
