The adventures of Fay and Bob as they move beyond the 9 to 5 life

Yesterday the snow started to melt and then froze overnight so now roads are very slick.  Even though it is bright and sunny and the snow glistens like diamonds we are house bound.   No paper again and no mail yesterday.  Found out our neighbor was sick yesterday so Bob shoveled their driveway.

Furman University is closed for the third day in a row.  120 National Guard and their humvee’s were called out yesterday to take doctors and nurses from their homes to hospitals.  Still lots of closings.  The road outside our house is ridges of snow and ice.  We are safe and warm but getting a little bored.   I’m making lasagna today, Bob is paying bills and thank goodness for high speed internet and Netflix downloadable movies.  Temps today will stay below freezing but by Friday it will be mid 40’s and 50 into the weekend so I expect much of this to be gone by Saturday.
