Life Part Two

The adventures of Fay and Bob as they move beyond the 9 to 5 life

Update on Bob’s hands

Bob got his stitches out this afternoon and healing is going well.   One hand is really good and the fingers quite straight.   The other one where they did more surgery and snips is healing ok but still has a ways to go.   He really needs the splint to help straighten one of the fingers.   He is supposed to wear the splints all night and not anxious to do that.

The bigger problem is his first night home he passed out and fell down on his wrist and bent it back.   He got an xray and it is not broken or cracked so that is good.   He just really sprained it.   Doing what we can to reduce swelling and pain.   Applying heat and cold and some other remedies but it will just take time.   He can’t swim until next week and is doing exercises on the elliptical machine.  He will try working in his workshop this weekend for a little while.   He really misses the shop and swimming.   Poor guy.   Cats are happy that they have lots of time to sit in his lap.  Thanks for all your get well wishes.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear Bob reinjured his wrist! And I thought carpo-tunnel pain was bad… Best wishes for a speedy (relatively speaking) recovery!
