Furman play “Pomp and Circumstance”

Pomp and Circumstance is an original play having it’s debut here.   Written by a Furman graduate Randall David Cook.

If you can go see it.   The performances are being sold out so you must get tickets in advance.   I don’t want to give much away about the plot other than the play is staged on an elite college campus with a dozen seniors in their last semester of college.

Everything about this play works.   Great characters perfectly matched to the actors and a plot line that will overwhelm you.   I can’t stop thinking about it.   Still time to see it Nov. 21-23.    One of the best productions, film or stage, that I have ever seen.

Follow the adventures of Fay and Bob, 65 plus, as they explore the country to look for a new home, sell their MN home, finally move and get settled into a new state and town.

  1. Wanted to thank you for your posting about “POMP AND CIRCUMSTANCE”. Means a great deal to me and to everyone involved in the production that you found the experience so meaningful.
